Two complementary tracks—one for senior decision-makers, one for hands-on practitioners—working together to accelerate precision agriculture adoption across Nigeria’s farms, institutions, and states.

Two tracks, one integrated precision agriculture academy

The Academy delivers a dual-track model: a Residential Executive Program for strategic leaders and a Non-Residential Practitioner Program for technical implementers. Together, they ensure that policy, strategy, and field execution move in sync.

Residential · 6 Days

Residential Executive Program in Precision Agriculture

Designed for managers of commercial farms, senior officials of State & Federal Ministries of Agriculture, agribusiness executives, policy makers, regulators, development partners, and senior extension officers.

This fully residential, immersive program focuses on the strategic applications of precision agriculture, policy design, regulatory frameworks, and national food-security alignment. Participants engage with live technology demonstrations—drones, GIS, and IoT sensors—while building executive-level decision-making and farm-level ROI modeling skills.

  • Precision agriculture overview, global trends, and Nigeria’s policy landscape.
  • Drone technology, demonstrations, and regulatory frameworks.
  • GIS mapping, remote sensing, IoT sensors, smart irrigation, and climate-smart agriculture.
  • Farm-level ROI modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and strategy workshops.
“Participants leave with the ability to design, evaluate, and oversee precision agriculture initiatives at scale.”
Non-Residential · 12 Weeks

Precision Agriculture Practitioner Program

Tailored for university agriculture students, young professionals, and community-based trainees who want hands-on technical skills in digital and climate-smart agriculture.

The program is delivered in two phases: a 6-week Immersion Phase covering foundational concepts and a 6-week Field Competency Phase with intensive field days. Participants work with real farm datasets, drones, sensors, and GIS tools to build portfolio-ready evidence of competence.

  • Immersion in precision agriculture concepts, soil science, crop management, remote sensing & GIS.
  • Smart farming technologies, IoT sensor deployment, and data analytics.
  • Field days focused on drone operations, NDVI crop health analysis, yield estimation, and advisory workflows.
  • Capstone farm-management project and precision intervention recommendations.
“Participants graduate as job-ready precision agriculture technicians with portfolio-ready evidence of competence.”

From strategy rooms to farm fields

Both programs are built around applied learning—every concept is tied to real farms, real data, and real decisions. Classroom sessions flow directly into field activities, drone flights, and data-driven analysis.

  • Drone-enabled crop intelligence and NDVI-based crop health monitoring.
  • GIS-based decision-making and remote sensing for farm planning.
  • IoT-powered smart irrigation, soil moisture and nutrient monitoring.
  • Farm-level ROI modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and investment cases.
